Well here we are at the business end of the summer school holidays in Victoria, Australia. These holidays have been like no other I’ve ever experienced. The renovations have meant constant noise and interruptions, amongst other distractions. Some days starting at 7:00am and gong right though until 7:00pm!
The upshot of this is, all the stuff I had hoped to have completed for my 2017 classes has only be 1/3 done and all the books I wanted to read have remained unopened! Even my initial idea of digging into my archive seems to have stalled. I won’t even talk about the body of work I need to print for an exhibition in 2018!
On the upside, the Melbourne Photobook Collective [MPC] was formed, and the MPC will have a stand in this years National Gallery Of Victoria’s art book fair! I hope to have 2 books and a Zine ready for sale on the stand. One is at the printers the other still in development stage, the Zine simply needs another edition printed.
And our renovation will soon be over!
